so long 2013

2013 brought me to my lowest lows, lower than I thought possible. But it’s what I needed and I came out better because of it. I got through it. I can get through anything that God puts me though, because I know he puts me through it for a reason. If He brings you to it, he’ll see you through it.

I am so excited for 2014. Beyond excited. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this year FOREVER. This is the year I graduate and become a Registered Nurse, starting my career and my true “adult life.” I’ve never been more excited for anything.

  1. Work out more
  2. Get better taste in clothes… I’ve worked out the makeup this year, now I need to work on something else that needs improving.
  3. Go someplace I’ve never been before
  4. Deal with what needs to be dealt with… (cryptic)
  5. Find an interesting hobby like outdoorsy stuff, or painting more, etc
  6. Keep on the road I’m going on.
  7. Experience ALL THE THINGS
  8. Start working as an RN, BSN. Holla.

2013 resolutions (since I have nowhere else to put them)

  1. Run at least once a week! Even if it’s just 20 mins. Even if it’s just one mile.
  2. Run the SA 1/2 Marathon in under 2:30 (it will be my second time running it!)
  3. Do the Spartan Race in May!
  4. Do a strength workout at least once a month.
  5. Be able to lift weights on my own (without a bodypump class :P) by the end of the year!
  6. All A’s!!!! I’m gonna be an overachiever.
  7. Ok, well, at least only one B a semester.
  8. Get a job in a hospital.
  9. Get on a normal sleep schedule.
  10. Drink less alcohol.
  11. Buy a new pair of jeans.
  12. Experiment with makeup more.
  13. Visit my grandparents at least once a month.
  14. Go to either New Orleans or Las Vegas.
  15. Stick with my “2013 box” - write down one good thing every day of the year, put it in the box, then read them all December 31, 2013.

I think I’m a pretty awesome person. so I just want to find someone I think is more awesome than ME. is that really too much to ask?
